Type A LED T8 Tubes - Type A T8 LED tubes are compatible with fixtures that have an existing fluorescent ballast. These Type A plug and play LED tubes are designed to be direct drop in replacements for fluorescent T8 tubes.
Type B LED T8 Tubes - Type B LED T8 tubes directly wire into the line voltage and bypass the ballast entirely, with the option of either single or double ended wiring. Existing legacy fluorescent fixtures will need to be rewired to bypass the ballast, whereas most new LED T8 fixtures are already set up for direct wiring.
Type A/B LED T8 Tubes - Type A/B LED T8 tubes are considered hybrids due to the fact that they can operate either with or without the ballast, thanks to their sophisticated circuitry.
Type C LED T8 Tubes - There are also Type C LED tubes which operate with an external driver as opposed to directly wiring into the line voltage or using an existing ballast.
What Are 3500K LED Tube Lights?
3500K LED T8 tubes with a Color Temperature of 3500 Kelvin provide a warm white illumination. This color is also ideal for providing a relaxing and welcoming environment. The color is similar to 3000K but with a whiter tint.
